- Drive slowly. Everything takes longer on snow-covered roads. Accelerating, stopping, turning – nothing happens as quickly as on dry pavement...

When I was growing up the holidays meant a lot of travel. My family, like 107 million Americans, traveled from Dec. 23 - Jan 1. Having 3 older brothers, it was always a magic trick getting our large family into a car in any kind of timely fashion. We spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with family in Kansas City, about an hour away from home in Topeka. I fondly recall traveling to see the KC plaza lights on Thanksgiving night or falling asleep in the car on the way home from the Christmas Eve party and waking up in my bed on christmas morning.
Christmas Eve at my Aunt and Uncle's house was a big... -

Eventually I put it next to a crowded bike rack, but I could see too many scooters getting out of hand. That said, I would use this everyday for my 2.1 mile commute. That may come sooner than later. Ford has purchased San Francisco-based scooter sharing company Spin.
