The elements have a habit of ruining expensive equipment by entering into any tiny crevice and seam not completely sealed off.
Enter the Ingress Protection (IP) rating system, the scale used to identify how well your equipment’s interior is shielded from solid particulates, liquids, and submersion.
The scale works as such:
- The first number after IP in any given rating applies to your equipment’s protection against solid elements like sand. This scale goes from 0-6, with 0...

Living in New York, you always have to have a few backup plans for getting around. When I hear the trains are delayed, I take the bus. A few weeks ago I took the bus home and something strange happened. The driver went off the scheduled route and started making strange stops. Passengers were uneasy, and I got off at the first stop I could and ended up taking a different subway line home.
If the bus was equipped with a Mobilemule™ Mobile DVR series, geo fencing would allow the fleet manager to get an alert when the vehicle deviates off the predetermined route.

the first green light, 10th and Gage, when there’s a loud flash of red at the
corner of my eye. I slam on the brakes. An ambulance rushes through the
intersection, missing my jalopy by inches. It was that close.I pull into the animal hospital parking lot and sit, shaking
in my car, cereal and... -

- Drive slowly. Everything takes longer on snow-covered roads. Accelerating, stopping, turning – nothing happens as quickly as on dry pavement...
