We're Giving This Big-Hearted Marine Vet An Extra Set of Eyes

Take one look at Jessica Rambo’s Instagram page The Painted Buffalo, and you’d think it was a collection of gorgeous landscape shots, skoolie conversion updates, and cool excursion pics.

In fact it’s all those things, and so much more, for so many folks.

Read a little into the captions and you’ll not only get her story, but a sense of what drives her and makes her projects and her page so special.

Jess is a mother, a Marine vet, an artist, and a force for good when it comes to other vets, women, and single mothers. Last but not least, she’s the owner of The Painted Buffalo, a school bus-turned-home and art studio.

The skoolie shares its name with a nonprofit run by Jessica, which enables everyone she comes across to tell their stories through artwork. Her traveling studio has logged 53,000 miles around the U.S., providing art supplies, therapeutic outlets, and the chance for people to “grow from their traumas,” as she explains.

When the time came for RVS to collaborate with her, we were more than happy to provide her with a backup camera system for her second upcoming build–not just because of our own commitment to safety, but because missions like Jessica’s should be protected at all costs.

Keep a lookout for Painted Buffalo’s upcoming Instagram (and YouTube) videos, as Jess will be showing off her newly installed camera system!. They’ll be dropping soon, along with a special discount code for the RVS website.
