Thank You, Drivers

I wake up pretty early. Depending on when I go to bed (thanks a lot, Netflix) I usually get out of bed between 5 AM and 6 AM, sometimes even earlier. Every morning I check the weather by looking out my window. I live across the street from a very busy coffee shop and a police prescient. A lot of trucks and buses are stored in my neighborhood. No matter what time I look out the window, the coffee shop is full of drivers, fueling up for their morning rides. It's still full with another group when I start walking to my bus around 7:30. It's important to step back and say thank you.

So Many To Thank

A co-worker recently showed me an infographic showing the most common job in each state from 1978-2014. The most common job across the board in 1978 was farmer, while the 2014 most common US job was truck driver.

Thank You - Rear View Safety

Every day, and especially around the holiday I think it's important to show appreciation for truck, bus, and other drivers. They are the ones transporting food to grocery stores. Taking your kids to school. Delivering your presents in the cold, and so much more.

I feel honored that every day I work to keep drivers and everyone around them safe. From backup camera systems to sensor systems to mobile DVR's and everything in between, we are always innovating and making the world a safer place. Technology and safety go hand in hand, and there is something new to learn every day.

So the next time you walk your daughter to the school bus, or see a driver unloading food at a grocery store, stop and give thanks.

Thank you, drivers.
