How Do You Know You Found A Good Back Up Camera System?

Quite simply put, you can get a backup camera system or you could get a fantastic backup camera system. When you look for a new backup camera system for your vehicle you should look for night vision features, the depth limit, a color monitor, a good mounting system, and a warranty. These are all vital to your decision-making.

It doesn’t matter what you’re driving, it should have a proper camera set-up. So get the truck or RV backup camera system that best suits your ride. When searching, consider the size and shape of your vehicle. The camera should fit comfortably to the back of the vehicle. It should also have a field of vision between 20-40 feet, preferably wider/longer. This perception should not be obscured by darkness or cloudiness, hence having infra-red or night vision options are a big plus. A color monitor is easier for the driver. It won’t leave any discrepancies as to what exactly you are seeing behind the vehicle. This is useful when there are tight spaces where color perception makes a huge difference.

Also, make sure the mounting on the dashboard is strong. It should last a long time and be easily installed. The better systems can cost $200 or more but they’re worth every penny. It’s much better to spend the money, have the warranty, and know your vehicle is safe than to take a chance.

Government Encourages Use Of A Backup Camera System In Vehicles

When you really think about it, there is no reason not to have a back up camera system for your vehicle. There is absolutely no harm in being careful. The risk of backing into another car, or even worse, another person is just dreadful. But, it happens more often than we would like to admit. New vehicles have so many panels and gadgets on their dashboards, and a majority of them are for entertainment’s sake. If you were to include at least one useful installment into the dashboard, it should be a vehicle backup camera.

By 2014 it could quite possibly be mandatory to include a backup camera system in all new vehicles because the most vulnerable to poor hindsight are children. There have been too many incidents in the past to ignore the reality that mirrors don’t quite cut it. It really couldn’t hurt since we have so many safety features for drivers and passengers. Why not include one for passers-by?

Cars just seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. They’re meant to satisfy families but the downside is it’s much harder to see behind and around them. A truck backup camera could act as a mediator. Consumers can have their larger vehicles and safety regulations are followed.

A Back Up Camera System For Car Trips

back up camera systemIt never fails that at some point at the end of summer or in the Fall my family has to have the big family reunion. No matter where it’s held this involves some long distance driving; more than half of the time several hours of endless roads. This also means driving really early in the morning and really late at night. Tired eyes equal big, bad, ugly backing up surprises. The last thing you need is to put people at the rest stop centers in danger because you backed out and could not see properly.

A backup camera system is easy-to-use, gives you a better view of the space behind your vehicle, and can be easily accessed on your dashboard.  Anybody who travels extensively by car should invest in one of these devices. They can be fitted to many different types of vehicles too, so yes, while my family car isn’t the biggest thing in the world it is still useful.

Truck drivers may find these even more useful. Driving on highways and turnpikes with heavy cargo can be daunting. A vehicle backup camera in the back of the truck can make a huge difference when checking for safety.

A Backup Camera System is A Gift Dad Can Really Use

Dad’s birthday is coming up and he’s always been a practical guy, as most dads are. He likes gifts he can actually use, not just throw-aways or something that’s cute to decorate his work desk but isn’t actually helpful. He also really, really loves his car. It’s not exactly a new model but he’s held on to it for a while, put a lot of love into it, and cleans it often and always.

When looking at something to get that is car related and useful, a backup camera system is perfect. It keeps him and his family safe, it keeps those around him safe, it’s a cool new piece of technology and you can find one perfect for the model of his car.

The best part about getting a backup camera system is you can spend the time together to install it and then test it. Test it in the driveway by placing a garbage can or something else non-fragile behind the car, so he can adjust the camera to be just right for him. He’ll be amazed at everything he’ll be able to see and thrilled you bought him a gift that really matters!

When a DHL truck is on the road, the most important thing the driver is thinking is how to get your package to you safely. Part of that is having a backup camera system installed on their truck, so that when parking in front of a building, they know exactly what is in front and behind them at all times. They are constantly pulling in and out of places and all within limited amount of time so deliveries can arrive on time. So it’s important with the speed of their work that they are aware of their surroundings.

Commercial Back Up Camera System Should Be Part of a School Budget

When it comes to keeping your students safe, you’d do anything you can. After all, you want them to come to school and feel that it is a safe environment, conducive to learning. But you also have to make sure the kids are safe on the way to and from school and part of that is making sure their bus rides are safe. A commercial back up camera system for each yellow bus is a perfect way to ensure there are no accidents.

You certainly don’t want a child getting hurt walking in the school parking lot or heading to the bus in the morning from their house. You want the bus driver to be able to see everything. You also don’t want any accidents while the children are already in the bus, on their way to or from their classes. Having a backup camera system installed for every bus will make that difference. If it’s not a part of your school’s budget, find a way to make it so. Do what you can to talk to the board and propose getting some financial aid in helping to keep all students safe.

A Vehicle Backup Camera For My Summer Travels

vehicle backup cameraThis year’s summer travels weren’t too far –I opted for the “cheap” vacation and went out East, of Long Island that is. One weekend I decided to finally visit the beautiful wineries on the North Fork. Unfortunately I couldn’t indulge that much in the wine because I was driving after all. I made sure we got there early and stayed late until I was 100% okay to drive. A second weekend I went out to the Hamptons to stay at my best friend’s summer house. Boy do I love his house! It’s absolutely gorgeous and has an in-ground pool and tennis court.

My final trip out East was to “The End” –Montauk. I’ve been to the lighthouse only once before and while the lighthouse itself isn’t all that exciting, you can’t beat that gorgeous view and all the seafood restaurants! The lobster tacos are to die for. But what helped me arrive safely at each destination was not my GPS. It was my vehicle backup camera. It didn’t just come in handy for parking either. A vehicle backup camera allowed me to safely switch lanes and watch for cars racing up behind me. It kept both me and my passengers safe and led us to the wonders of the East end.

A Backup Camera System Got Me Through Driving Lessons

My dad is the type who thinks that paying for driving lessons is a waste of money, especially when there’s such a good driver already there to teach for free; him. And it’s true, my dad is a spot on driver and can work his way through any situation. Me? Not so much.  Thankfully my dad just installed a backup camera system into his car a month ago, for his own safety when parking and backing up in general. But it helped me so much with learning how to parallel park, something that’s a must in the big city we live in.

With the backup camera system, I was aware of everything behind me and how close the car behind me was so I didn’t do any more than tap the bumper (which I did a lot those first few tries). It gave me a sense of ease that I wouldn’t have had without it. And after I got parking down well, I moved on and tried a car without it and was able to do just fine. So not only are they great for safety, they are great as learning tools as well!

A Vehicle Back Up Camera Makes Parking Easier

Sometimes parking doesn’t afford us very much room. Now say you have to drive a big RV, motor home, or coach bus. Having to park these things can be a nightmare if you’re going to crowded locations, especially if there isn’t a designated area just for those kinds of vehicles. It’s just a hazard waiting to happen and it’s you who will be blamed if anything goes awry- even if there should be a safer place to park bigger vehicles.

A RV back up camera is useful for when you’re in crowded spaces. That means crowded as in full of people as well as crowded as in too many tightly packed vehicles. You want to make sure you’re abiding by safety first so you get one of these camera installed and then have the screen near or in your dashboard so you can see what’s going on. You’ll be avoiding a lot of insurance claims and potential lawsuits if you do this.

Why get yourself tangled in a big old mess when you can simply find a better way to deal with it?  Honestly, why would you take a chance at missing something in your blind spot when a vehicle backup camera won’t miss a single detail.
